Frequently
asked questions

Ergonomics and comfort

What is an ergonomic office chair?

An ergonomic office chair is designed to provide optimal support for your body during prolonged periods of sitting. It helps maintain healthy posture, reduces tension in the back, shoulders and neck, and promotes comfort and concentration at work. Our models use technologies such as pocket springs that adapt to each pressure point, improving air circulation and comfort, even after several hours of use.

How does an ergonomic chair differ from a conventional office chair?

Unlike standard chairs, our seats are designed to prevent and treat musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). They adapt to the user's body shape and redistribute pressure points using more sophisticated mechanical systems, such as independent springs, to provide better support for the pelvis and back.

How do I choose a seat that suits my body type?

You can contact us directly via the contact form, by email or telephone. An advisor will assess your needs, usage constraints and preferences in order to suggest the most suitable model for you.

What adjustments are available on your seats?

The models we offer feature a variety of adjustments to suit everyone: seat height, backrest angle, 4D armrest adjustments, headrest, and much more depending on the options chosen. Many of our seats also allow for natural ventilation thanks to their pocket spring structure, which limits heat and humidity.

Environment & responsibility

Where are your office chairs manufactured?

All our seats in the Manufacture des Cévennes range are designed and manufactured in France, in the heart of the Cévennes region of Gard. This local production is part of an approach to support the regional economy, craftsmanship and social and environmental responsibility.

Are your seats recyclable?

Each seat model has a recyclability rate ranging from 84% (for FLORAC COMPACT) to 90% (for FLORAC, ESPEROU, ANDUZE).

Do you use recycled materials?

Yes, the recycling rate varies from 14.5% (for AIGOUAL) to 37% (for FLORAC).
